Behind Rosalina's Hairdo

Description

Rosalina... We all thought she was the hotness, with that mysterious aire about her. We loved her. We've read her story. We've bounced on her head at the Comet Observatory. We've fantasized about her. We've drawn/viewed fanart and written/read fanfiction anout her. We all mourned when we found out she got replaced by a fat purple luma in Galaxy 2 (You can thank "Mario games should have no plot" Myamoto for that). Lastly, we've probably oft wondered about her funky hairdo. "What does her right eye look like?" "Why does she always hide it?"

Sadly, many years ago, she fell victim to a tragic accident whilst viewing the cosmos, when a stray Banzai Bill drifted in from space and homed in on the telescope. Just as telescopes magnify tiny objects, they also shrink huge objects when viewed backwards. Naturally, once it exited the eyepiece, the bullet was just the perfect size to plug Rosalina's eye socket. Permanently disfigured, Rosalina loathed the thought of scorn and ridicule from outsiders if they saw her disfigurement.

But Rosie came up with a beautifully elegant solution.:lightbulb:

Rather than wear an eye patch:pirate:
or place a paper bag over her head:ashamed:,
she simply changed her hairstyle:hesitation:
and somehow managed to become Nintendo's hottest princess:love:

Hope this didn't offend. I have seen fanart of the four plumber's shown in just about every angle imaginable, whether virtuous or sinister. I've also seen tons of stuff on the Damsels as well. However, nearly every time I've ever seen a princess defamed, it's usually in some kind of perverse sort of way. So why do I draw the hottest Nintendo babe in such a grotesque manner?

Twisted sense of humor, I guess:P

I believe that the Berol PrismaColor pencils worked out much better than the hybrid traditional/digital underpainting Photoshop technique used in "Spicy Meatball"

At some point, I plan on doing a Mario fancomic in which Mario discovers Rosalina's "Dark Little Secret", and then reveals one of his own:rofl:

Comments, favs, Llamas appreciated :D
