Anodized Mandelbrot Cross

A cross I found somewhere in the Mandelbrot Set. The cross has a deeply spiritual meaning to me, and even if you don't share those views, it is still a beautiful object to behold...

I thought the detail and colors turned out so vivid and beautiful, that I am making it available as a print. The image file is a huge square, 3000 pixel PNG (originally 6000), so it's just not practical to download it, and Jpeg compression ruins the image.

Patterns can be found inside the set using various methodological search techniques in certain areas by altering the path taken during the zoom exploration. For this one I jumped from one midget to another thereby extending the length of the cross arms.
