Metaphase Hexapod 6th Order

While I've successfully illustrated the chromosome effect in the 2nd order Mandelbrot Fractal, the X formations are all 4-sided. The 3rd order version generated a Y-like chromosome, and the 4th order version also featured X-chromosomes, and finally, the 5th order revealed a "starfish made up of starfish" effect. This is my attempt to extend this technique into the 6th power. I went for a more organic look by zooming into different areas to create a varigated effect, which turned out very bizarre. The Metaphase technique really starts to break down here, as with the higher-order fractals, the innards become bulged out much more so than with previous powers, to the point that they are nearly as large as the primary features. You can literally see the minibrot in the center of this one. I also tried to go two steps further into the 8th-power Mandelbrot in an attempt to create an "Octopus made out of Octopuses" and it simply didn't work. Even at 6th order, it gets weird and the Metaphase Effect begins to be lost.......
